Terminals

There are two passenger terminals T1 (International Terminal) and T2 (Domestic Terminal). On the western side of the airport in the General Aviation Precinct there are a number of private aviation facilities, Aviation Australia's Cairns Aviation Skills Centre and Cairns Airport's common user General Aviation Terminal.

The Terminal Operations Manual is designed to provide some basic information that will assist in the formalities associated with terminal protocols, resource allocations, communication procedures and contingencies associated with baggage handling systems.

The Apron Parking Protocols provide an overview of general protocols in place for aircraft operators using the domestic, link, international and IGAA prons.
