Airport Vaccination Clinic

A COVID-19 vaccination clinic at Cairns Airport T2 Domestic Terminal is now open to the public on Fridays to Mondays from 5.00am - 1.30pm. Walk-in to get your first or second vaccination. No appointment needed.

Cairns Airport will also provide 1 hour of FREE Airport Parking in the T2 Domestic Car Park for those that visit the Airport Clinic to get vaccinated (see more details below).

T2 Domestic Check-In - Left side of Security Screening entrance (see map below).

Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Mondays - 5.00am - 1.30pm

What type of vaccine is being administered at the Airport Clinic?
QLD Health nurses are administering Pfizer to eligible 12+ population. 

Do I need an appointment?
No appointments required. Walk-in for your vaccine during the hours of operation.

What do I need to bring?
You will need to bring along your Medicare Card.

Where do I park if I am coming out to the Airport Vaccination Clinic to get vaccinated?
Cairns Airport is offering 1 hr of FREE* Airport Parking in the T2 Domestic Car Park for people that visit the Airport Vaccination Clinic to get vaccinated. Park in the T2 Domestic Car Park and collect your car park ticket at the boom gate entry. When leaving, stop by the Car Park Kiosk (next to the T2 Covered Car Park) to get your Car Park ticket validated. *Please note you will need to show your COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card at the Car Park Kiosk to be eligible for FREE Parking.

I've already had my first Pfizer vaccination, can I come to the Airport Clinic to get my second Pfizer vaccination?
Yes, you can come out to the airport for your first Pfizer vaccination or your second Pfizer vaccination. For your second Pfizer vaccination you will need to wait a minimum of 3 weeks since your first vaccination.

Do I need to wear a face mask?
Yes, it's a requirement for people visiting Australian Airports to wear a face mask when inside the terminal (even if you are not travelling).
