SHAC’s vision is to eliminate homelessness in Cairns. Staffed by a hardworking team of 17 employees, SHAC delivers wraparound support services and case management to families and individuals through Family Support, Mobile Support, My Money Program, and No Interest Loan Scheme (NILs).

Rainforest Rescue has been protecting and restoring rainforests in Australia and internationally since 1998. Donations made by Cairns Airport support activity in the Daintree area where Rainforest Rescue purchase properties of high conservation value rainforest and work to protect their biodiversity and restore rainforest through planting, maintenance and weed removal.
