There will soon be new seating for both terminals at Cairns Airport as well as new flooring for the T2 (Domestic) Departure Lounge. Cairns Airport is making this considerable investment ahead of the scheduled replacement time as the seating and flooring installed previously have not withstood the wear and tear to which they are exposed from the 3 million plus people passing through the terminal each year.
