Over three million dollars of further investment by Cairns Airport will see several new initiatives rolled out in the first half of next year.
Cairns Airport Chief Executive Officer, Kevin Brown, said the new projects will introduce a covered car parking section and provide more covered pedestrian walkways for the Domestic Terminal and achieve large-scale energy savings through a switch to LED lighting where possible around the airport.
