The Airport Ambassadors at Cairns Airport are a dedicated group who volunteer some of their spare time each week to assist passengers and other airport users. Their services are greatly valued by Cairns Airport, our customers and stakeholders as they help us in our mission to connect the world with the Great Barrier Reef.

Since the program began in August 2007, Airport Ambassadors have each day welcomed many of the millions of people arriving into or departing from Cairns Airport, answered their queries and offered helpful information on way finding, transport, facilities, accommodation, regional attractions and much more. The service they provide makes a huge difference to the overall airport experience, especially for our visitors.
